I spent 4 days reading this book, and it was positively wonderful, we usually couldn't put it down no matter how many it ticked me off! LOL! It was a small delayed to start up, though we found myself so invested in a story and a characters, that we usually had to know how this was all going to play out.
Lexie White mislaid her mom as a immature girl, that forced her to grow adult a small faster than most. Then carrying to assistance her father run their domicile along with holding caring of herself, she missed out on a lot as a child. Once in high school, a super bashful Lexie had a large vanquish on Vincent Drake, a many renouned man in school. But he never knew, and in fact Lexie flattering many stayed to herself, and Vincent never knew she existed. Upon graduation, Lexie receives a grant to NYU to continue her preparation in advertising. After dual years in college, she had to dump out to go behind home to caring of her father who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's, that is where she spent a subsequent several years.

My favorites aside from Lexie and Vincent were Hope, Lexie's best friend, and Sean, Vincent's cousin. we desired wish each time she showed up, she supposing a lot of comic service with her discerning wit, and her tough lady attitude. And she is a good crony to Lexie, listening, helpful, supportive, and prepared to flog anyone's tail that jacks with her friend. And Sean.... *falls over swooning* He is funny, easy going and is also a good understanding crony to Vincent along with being family. Vincent's 5yr aged niece was usually too lovable for words. There are a ton of characters in this book, and they all play a purpose in this story.
I unequivocally suggest this to anyone who likes contemporary romance, it was like examination a good chicky flick. There were lots of laughs, and too many good quotes to start inventory them. Great Job Victoria Michaels!!!!

Loved this story, though it came with a few buts for me. Up front, we desired a commencement of this story as a author started out display Lexi's final day of school. Lexi's impression is unequivocally bashful and wise for a partial in a book. Reading about her during twenty eight, her impression reminds of a film Working Girl with Melanie Griffith's character. we favourite Vincent. He was indignant and indignant many of a time; however, both characters meshed well. Although Lexi's feelings toward Vincent were transparent via a book, it took some-more than half of a book before anything unequivocally was established. Sean and Hope's story was beguiling along with a few amiable and not so likeable characters. Sean was Vincent's crony and co workman and Hope was Lexi's best friend.
I felt after a celebration a story took a bit of a dive for me. It was a prolonged and full length novel, so there were moments that went in and out for me that means my seductiveness to collapse a few times. At times, we feel that novels that are so prolonged and minute can get mislaid a bit. we don't brawl this isn't a good story though a gait was not to my liking. But we desired a characters and a storyline. we was a bit unhappy with a cognisance since this book was in a difficulty of erotica.

Vincent's impression is built as conflicted and as carrying trust issues. He comes off as a doormat with no spine.
